2. Accessing the website and server log files
When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file or page, amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system and referrer information. Processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably, analyse errors and protect against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Table reservations
No online table reservations are made through this website. Reservation requests are accepted exclusively by phone. The website therefore contains no reservation form and no online booking calendar.
6. Cookies and WordPress
The website is based on WordPress. Technically necessary cookies may be used in connection with administration, security or session functions. The Restaurant Hufer theme itself does not set advertising or profiling cookies. Additional WordPress plugins may introduce their own data processing and must be reviewed separately when activated and, where necessary, added to this privacy policy.
7. Images and the WordPress media library
Restaurant and gallery images are loaded from the WordPress media library. The theme uses system font stacks and does not itself load external Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts.
8. Google Maps / directions link
The contact page contains an external link to Google Maps for route planning. The theme does not automatically embed a Google map. Only after you click the external link do you leave our website; the external provider is responsible for the subsequent data processing.
9. Analytics and marketing services
The theme itself does not integrate web analytics, remarketing or advertising tracking services. If services such as analytics tools, social plugins, external video services or marketing tags are added via plugins or later integrations, this privacy policy must be updated before use and, where required, an effective consent solution must be implemented.
10. Storage period
Personal data is processed only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Afterwards, the data is deleted or its processing restricted unless legal grounds require further storage.
